In a world often dominated by e-commerce giants, we stand out as one of the few platforms uniquely committed to helping local businesses succeed on a performance basis.  With increasing consolidation across all sectors (Retail, Hospitality chains, etc.), Groupon aims to be the platform of choice for them and preserve the "local uniqueness" over "uniform consolidated experiences". Whether it's a hidden gem of a restaurant, a revitalising spa, or a thrilling family experience, we bring unforgettable options to our customers. By emphasising experiences over material goods, Groupon strengthens families and communities – bonds are formed, and memories are made all while reducing the consumption of mass produced material products.

While we're known for exceptional value, we also support selling at market rates, offering tools for business expansion (which may be cost-effective gift card options with no or very low fees if distributed directly by merchant partners). We aim to be the go-to market experts for SMEs in marketing (driving incremental demand), pricing and yield management. We strive to create a seamless solution for directly booking experiences, thereby eliminating the friction associated with voucher redemption. We aim to transparently provide our merchant partners with detailed performance data, empowering and directing them to boost sales through proactive management of promotions and sponsored listings. Our consultative sales approach assists merchant partners in creating deals that are both sustainable and capable of generating significant sales volume. We need to strengthen relationships and emotional connections with products that drive repeat deal activity (merchants) and purchases (consumers). Our vision is to become a loved brand.

Groupon aims to be a consumers first choice for discovering great value unforgettable local adventures, essential services, and exceptional gifting experiences. We strive to offer an easy-to-use and navigate platform that ensures smooth and engaging content (that's why we are creating reels...) that regularly attracts customers. It's important to us that our customers always feel they're treated fairly and can trust the information we provide about deals, merchants, and prices. Through their direct interactions with Groupon, customers should recognize the added value Groupon offers so that they are motivated to do subsequent purchases through Groupon and not directly (for example through Groupon Bucks incentivization or purchase protection where Groupon helps customers with subpar service experience). We want to explore new innovative ways of presenting local businesses - inspired by Instagram & TikTok reels and generate a new generation of video content.
